Late Night Dinner + Pork Steak Recipe

Hubby's work schedule changed from graveyard to mid shift and I'm just so happy because we can now have our late night dinner together. Yippieeeee!!! Di na ko magisa kakain sa gabi(lols) so last night after work,I cooked Pork Steak Tagalog since we were both craving for it.

some might think that cooking pork steak is complicated since the name STEAK in it sounds fabulous. =) but really guys,the procedure isn't fab but Fancy.I'm gonna share it with you all...=)

What You'll Need:
  • Pork Tenderloin (thinly sliced) 
  • Garlic (minced)
  • White Onion rings (1 Large onion)
  • Soy sauce
  • Calamansi juice
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp white sugar


  • Combine meat,soysauce,calamansi juice,onions,garlic and peppe. Marinade for atleast 30 minutes each side.
  • After marinating,Pan fry the meat for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove excess oil.Pour in the remaining marinade.
  • Add 1 cup of water and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add more onions and some sugar.Turn off heat. 

We had fruit cake with dates and wall nuts for dessert ,I forgot what it's called eh,that's from Cafe France.It taste so delicious grabeh..kita nyo naman bago ko napicturan nakagatan ko muna lols...

  1. Sarap! Reminds me of my lola's cooking. I make beef steak instead of pork (Muslim). Dessert looks yummy too!!
