Chicken à la King (Quick and Easy)

I love eating creamy dishes. One of my favorite is Chicken à la King. Before,I was wondering why it's called à la King .I first thought that this dish was first made and served for The King and Queen of the Kingdom of England.(shala') but i was wrong .There are several stories where this dish originated from and am gonna share them with you guys whether you like it or not. LOLz
  • One claims it was created by Delmonico's chef named Charles Ranhofer as Chicken à la Keene in the 1880s was named after Foxhall Parker Keene.
  • Another claims it was created in 1881 at Claridge hotel in London and named for James R.Keene.(father of  Foxhall Parker Keene)
  • Another account claims chef George Greenwald of the broghton Beach Hotel in Brighton Beach created it in 1890s, naming it after patron E. Clarke King and his wife
  • The most Likely account is that It was created in the 1890s by Hotel in Philadelphia.Several Orbituaries in early March 1915 credited King after he died on March 4,1915.A New York editorial tribune editorial at the time of King's death stated.

Chicken à la King is made of diced chicken with creamy sauce and some vegetables topped over rice, pasta or bread.
