The Ultimate Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

I slept for eight hours last night and it feels amazing. I was so tired from the Netflix series that my husband made me watch yesterday, but now all is well because today we will sleep in!

I had a lot of time to think about how much Netflix has been affecting our lives since he started watching these shows on there 24/7. Now I'm going to take advantage of this day off by sleeping in until noon - life can't get any better than when you start your weekend early.

 Today, My husband cooked Pancit Bihon Gisado for lunch, I've been requesting this for some days already. I miss eating Lechon Pancit of BELLYCHON WARRIORS. 

My kids and their cousin requested some cookies. I was in a good mood and so I had no problem fulfilling their request. Besides, it's always fun to bake something with the kids! I am always hesitant to buy bakery items in supermarkets because of how sugary most of them are, most of the time I'd just bake at home. I can make them any type of cookie or bread they want, as long as I have the ingredients so I decided to create an easy-to-make cookies which would satisfy all our cravings!. 

Anyway let's get into baking! This cookies are literally so chewy but not too soft. I like my cookie a little crunchy outside and really chewy inside. It doesn't break apart when you bite it because it is not underdone.

Remember to remove it even when the middle part is still soft and don't let the sides burn because it will be a hard cookie.

I also divided the dough into two parts because I made matcha (green tea) cookies too. You can experiment with incorporating other ingredients like peanut butter, chocolates, other types of nuts and so on, kung san ka happy te! 

I just added 2 tbsp of matcha powder into dough . I also put some white chocolates on top before I removed it into the oven. Trust me These cookies are so good and aren't too sweet.  The ingredients and the procedures aren't complicated too. 

Here are the brands I used: Dari Creme Classic Butter, Fuji Chocolate (I shaved it using a peeler), Dutsche Chocolate Chips , Almond Nuts (I bought this at 50% off in Robinson Las Pinas Daiso store), Queen All purpose flour.
