Typhoon Maring

It's a late post because we have no electricity since Monday.( maybe because of the typhoon.)The typhoon was a disaster especially in most area in Luzon.The heavy downpour of rain turns into flood.I wasn't able to go to work because of the flood.We live near the road as you can see in the first picture the road was flooded so there were no vehicles. It was not passable.I just informed my TL that I won't be able to go to work .She understood it naman ,eventually our work was cancelled na rin that day.

Good thing we always have general cleaning every weekend so there were no floating garbage when it flooded.I also have a stock of food in the fridge,It was actually good for 1 week however since there was no electricity the foods were beginning to spoil so I marinated and fried most of the meat.Marinating will prolonged the fresh meat shelf life.Last Monday I cooked Sinigang for lunch and Beef nilaga for dinner.Yesterday I cooked chicken sotanghon and Sopas. Hot soups perfect for the cold weather.

 Kadiri lng si hubby...hahaha...sarap ng lublob nya oh.don't worry I kept on reminding him naman to wash his feet with soap and clean water before he go upstairs.before he make halubilo to us..chos...arti lng...hehe..

problematic

 He was supposed to go to work at 5:00 in the morning but when we woke up our house were already flooded.He decided not to go to work anymore.Good thing he didn't leave us. I'm just so proud of him because he was able to carry all those things upstairs without any help.He didn't let me go down because of the dirty flood water.

I wasn't able to take a lot of pics because my cam's battery turned empty and as I said we have no electricity last Monday.I just wrote this at the office.
