Talking English Books by Grolier

My daughter's Grolier books had arrived yesterday. It was delivered in front of our doorstep for free! I was on my way to the office when someone called me to inform me that they're on their way to deliver the products.I was introduced at these products a year ago pa but I wasn't that interested because Sophie was too young then however last Sunday when we were in SM center Las PiƱas I passed by their tent. They were exhibiting their products there.A man named Rommel asked me to let my child play with the Logico toys and books. He also did some demo on how to used their puzzles and showed me different interactive books from Grolier. He was able to explain the importance of books on a child's learning process very well.He also mentioned that the first four years of a child's life is the most crucial stage of their life so how we nurture our children in their early childhood can make a big difference when they grow up. Anyways going back to the book, I've been heari...

Happy Tantrums Day!

My little Sophie is a happy toddler but  Whenever she sees me getting ready for work,She would start screaming right away. "Mommy wag work!,no no yan!"then she would start clinging when I'm about to leave. haissst...heart shattering tlga ang ganitong moment, nakaka-guilty and this also the reason why she throws tantrums most of the time.  Being a mother requires a lot of patience but being calm while hearing your child screaming and crying with feet stomping is a bit difficult. It can be frustrating sometimes noh?for me she's actually quite funny when she does that but I try not to let her see me laugh. super cute din kase minsan eh. well sometimes It's irritating but how do we keep ourselves compose in this kind of situation? We have different styles on how to raise our children. We have different techniques on how to handle our child's temper tantrums. I have some ways. She usually throws her tantrums when I'm about to leave for wo...

Typhoon Maring

It's a late post because we have no electricity since Monday.( maybe because of the typhoon.)The typhoon was a disaster especially in most area in Luzon. The heavy downpour of rain turns into flood.I wasn't able to go to work because of the flood. We live near the road as you can see in the first picture the road was flooded so there were no vehicles. It was not passable.I just informed my TL that I won't be able to go to work .She understood it naman ,eventually our work was cancelled na rin that day. Good thing we always have general cleaning every weekend so there were no floating garbage when it flooded.I also have a stock of food in the fridge,It was actually good for 1 week however since there was no electricity the foods were beginning to spoil so I marinated and fried most of the meat.Marinating will prolonged the fresh meat shelf life.Last Monday I cooked Sinigang for lunch and Beef nilaga for dinner.Yesterday I cooked chicken sotanghon and Sopas. Hot soups perfect...

"Thank you daddy carry si pia" as in lahat ng gawin ng tatay nya for her may thank you pero pag ako waley....well sometimes hehe...She's very sweet with her daddy because her dad follows everything she ask him to do..She prefers her dad's company over everyone else.
