The Ultimate Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

I slept for eight hours last night and it feels amazing. I was so tired from the Netflix series that my husband made me watch yesterday, but now all is well because today we will sleep in! I had a lot of time to think about how much Netflix has been affecting our lives since he started watching these shows on there 24/7. Now I'm going to take advantage of this day off by sleeping in until noon - life can't get any better than when you start your weekend early.  Today, My husband cooked Pancit Bihon Gisado for lunch, I've been requesting this for some days already. I miss eating Lechon Pancit of BELLYCHON WARRIORS.  My kids and their cousin requested some cookies. I was in a good mood and so I had no problem fulfilling their request. Besides, it's always fun to bake something with the kids! I am always hesitant to buy bakery items in supermarkets because of how sugary most of them are, most of the time I'd just bake at home. I can make them any type of cookie or br...

This kimchi recipe is just like the real thing! It's authentic Korean flavor, plus it's not super spicy at all. We've been selling it to our neighbors and friends, and they love it — so we're sharing it with you. I didn't actually change the recipe; I just tweaked it to cater to Filipino tastes. Happiness in 2021!

We just came home from my mom's place. We celebrated New Year there. Now I am having coffee while writing this. It is day 1 of 365 days of the year 2021! Yay!  We chose to celebrate in a very minimal way. Last Christmas we only cooked what we can consume for dinner. This New Year's Eve I baked a cake and cooked Lechon caldereta and brought them at my mom's. This is the first time na wala kameng leftover haha.  This is also the first time I didn't follow any feng-shui or color of the year thingy haha.   Our New Year's eve was quite busy because of the incoming orders and while waiting for the orders to cook. I was drinking coffee while having a quiet conversation to God .I thought about every hurtful events in the past. All the worries and fear I was holding This year I promise to not regret anything and that I will leave everything in God's hands.  This is probably the first time I feel ecstatic during new year! I don't know but I am just in high...

Mr. Sparkling Cleaning Services and A Cleaning Checklist (FREE PRINTOUT)

I've been really busy the past few days that I didn't have time to clean up our humble abode. I know I am also responsible for the upkeep of our house but I am really thankful for my husband that he is taking over the house chores for the meantime. This year I have given away many stuff that we didn't use anymore. I am trying my best and slowly convincing myself to live a minimalist lifestyle. I also started following Minimalist PH and Tipid Living on Facebook to get some advice on how to live a clutter free life. Well I will just post more about it on my next blog . Christmas and New Year are just around the corner. Yay! One common tradition Filipinos follow is cleaning our house thoroughly on or before New Year's Eve. Out with the old and in with the new they say. Most people believe in the idea that cleaning our house before the first day of the new year ensures that we don't carry in our old, or unpleasant memories into the New Year.   Today, I would like to f...

My Husband Dyes My Hair Purple

GGSS! haha The first time my husband dyed my hair was early this year. I wanted to change my hair color again but my husband insisted of doing it for me. (nice) I find this little act of kindness of my husband very sweet .We are always together doing chores and helping each other  even in our small business,  for like almost 8 years. For some, maybe It is "nakakasawa na" 😂but I've never felt it. I am always and still so clingy and Yes I am confident with a heart that my husband feels the same way (haha I hope) He spent hours doing my hair, coloring, rinsing and blow drying my hair and I appreciate it. I love moments like this because unstoppable ang kwentuhan not gossip but our kwentuhan about our goals in life and things we wanna achieve for our family. stress na sya ang likot ko daw hahaha Ayun na nga so we started with bleaching my hair. We used Verdon Bleach yung blue powder about 2 tbsp. then we mixed it with 90ml 12% oxidizer. My husband then sectioned ...
