DIY: Play Pretend Market Stall

Hi yiiiih! How was your loooong weekend? Me,I had a very tiring long weekend...ang bilis ng araw di ko nafeel masyado. Yes,It was tring but It was also fun filled! yipeee! My long weekend started last Thursday where I had General Cleaning and I also did the laundry na,come Friday,We had our farewell party for our Team Leader that was held in Biñan Laguna.Saturday,Me and my friend went to Divi,then yesterday,I just stayed home and did some DIY project! Last Thursday My daughter received a late Christmas gift from her ninang Mai,It was a cash register toy. My daughter was soooo delighted when she opened the gift. Me: What will you say to ninang Mai? Pia: Big Thaaaanks ninang!!!! We all laughed on how she said it. arte arte lang,lol. I knew she would love her new gift because whenever she's at my mama's store feel na feel niyang magtinda! at feel na feel ko rin na gusto niyang magkaroon ng sari sari store...lol! easy peasy project it...

Bookends Makeover

I was a little tired to go out last Sunday so I just revamped some stuffs at home that really needs some attention lols... The first and the easiest were the bookends.Sophia loves books.so you'll definitely find lots of books at home,actually,There is a book in every corner of our house. chos,lols. I think it's her security blanket?maybe.maybe not.  Anyways ,Here's an easy way on how to remodel bookends! just WRAP it!!!! Metal bookend wrap it up! tadaaaaaah! wrap it up w/tulle wrap it w/ribbon You can actually use lots of things to beautify your old and boring metal bookends. *cut some printed fabric and wrap the metal bookends. *paint it plain or add some polka dots print on it.play with colors. *wrap it with  printed papers or gift wrappers. No bake:Oreo Overload Cheesecake

I made an  Oreo Overload Cheesecake!  for my hubby's birthday last Saturday. What you'll need: Crust Graham Crackers (crushed into fine crumbs) 1 stick Butter (melted) Cheesecake filling 1 brick of Cream cheese (softened) Oreo (crushed to crumbs) All Purpose Cream Condensed Milk Vanilla Gelatin powder (Dissolved 10g of white gelatin into 2 tbsp of hot water mix until no lumps.) Easy Steps: Combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter for crust. Press into the bottom of a loose pan.Set in the fridge for two hours. Mix cream cheese ,All purpose cream, condensed milk,vanilla and gelatin together in a bowl until smooth. Add Oreo crumbs and gently mix. Pour the filling to the crust. Top with Oreo cookies on the sides and Oreo crumbs in the middle. Refrigerate for about 4-6 hours or until firm. DIY: Halloween Costume (Jack O' Lantern)

I made this Halloween costume last year.She wore this on SM Southmall Halloween event last 2012.I can't find photos of her wearing this because I wasn't there,I wasn't able to attend that said event because I had a work then.This costume only cost me around two hundred pesos only.This is so easy to make. What you'll need: 2 yards of Orange Tulle Garter Felt paper (black and green) Glitters (gold) Easy Steps: Measure you child's chest Measure Tulle base on your desired length Attach the ends of the garter and Sew. Put the garter around a stool or chair Tie the knot on the garter repeatedly until it becomes puffy For the Jack o' Lantern Face: Draw 2 leaves on green felt paper and cut them. Draw 3 same length triangles on black felt and cut them Draw the pumpkin mouth on black felt and cut it. Put glue and glitters on all sides. DIY: Simple Wall Decor

My daughter's play area isn't that big and cozy and It's just inside our bedroom .Her toys aren't that expensive. Actually, most of them are just DIY toys that I had made for her but I'm happy to see her satisfied with all those things. The  Dramamama .   Bow...hehe The wall on her play area was kinda plain.so I decided to add some wall decor.Luckily,I found some scrap woods. The Four Easy Steps: Cut thin strip woods using a handsaw and according to your desired lenght. Be accurate. Paint the woods and dry them. Gently hammer in a 1 inch  nail at each corner of the wood to  attach them. It will look like a square. You can now nail it on the wall and decorate it the way you want,Just be creative. DIY: Iron Board

My mother-in-law bought a play pretend iron for  my daughter  sans the iron board. Last Sunday we went to my byenan's  house to get it. My mother-in-law happily gave it to Sophie and said "Here! I bought you an iron toy!" My daughter stared at it blankly "O diba eto gusto mo?" sophie nodded and then said "opo..mas mura lang" anu dawwww? They laugh out loud because of that kaloka tlga who could have thought na masasabi nya pa yan at malalaman nyang mas mura ang nabili ng lola nya,oo nga naman but of course I told her to learn to appreciate something no matter how big or small,how cheap or expensive that thing is.She said thank you naman after. Iba kc talaga ang gusto kong bilhin non for her but I wasn't able to because we were on a hurry when we saw it and kameng dalawa lang that time so mabigat,di ko keri! eto yun! DIY: No-Sew Tutu Skirt

I made her a tutu skirt last Saturday...I love making tutus.I will show some of what I made on a separate post.
