Pretty Practical Mom

As time passes by,Prices rises high so enable for us to cope with our daily expenses we should be practical in everything. yeah right,Practicality is the least we could do about price hike but the best we could do to make our life simpler. I have some list here on how economical I am at home.I tell you,I may not be organised and orderly at home but I am very matipid. hahaha.. I turn off lights in the morning. I just open the window and voila! instant light and fresh air.  I cook  everything in the morning.  After I cook breakfast,I will cook rice and meal good for lunch and dinner so I won't have to cook again .If we have leftover I put it in the fridge and served it for breakfast in the morning. I wash our clothes every other day. I love washing our own clothes I don't hire labandera to wash our clothes.I do it.It saves time and money. I don't use dryer to dry our clothes.I dry our laundry outside well not unless there's bagyo.(need help din syem...

 Just like what I told you guys on my other recipe post I like meals that don't cost a lot of money,doesn't require a lot of ingredients and recipes that don't take a lot of time to make. I think most moms do, especially working moms like me, since we only have limited time and limited budget (that's me!). lols.  Anyways,This is my version of Fish with tausi.It's slightly different from the original recipe but I assure you mommies that this is just as yummy as the usual fish with tausi. Ingredients: Milk fish cut on serving size (fried) Black beans, drained  Ginger,  julienne Garlic, minced 1 medium sized Onion, chopped 2 medium sized Tomatoes, chopped Salt and pepper. Procedure: Fry the fish. Set aside. In a skillet,sautee ginger,garlic,onion and tomato. Add desired amount of black beans. Pour 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.  I'm not a perfect mom nor a perfect housewife. I'm not trying to be one coz I know I'll never be.I am kind.I think I'm a good person but I don't do everything right.I have breakouts,split ends but I never allow my self to feel insecure. I have a messy house but a happy home.yes. A Messy House!  I admire those moms who can still keep their home orderly in spite of children runnin around and messin' the house, actually my daughter knows how to tidy up her toys after she plays them. The problem is ME. I'm too lazy to clean.  Usually It's an organize wife and a messy husband but we are different. It's been a month since I purchased the Talking English Books by Grolier and I've noticed a big improvement on my daughter's communication skill.I know you might think I'm over reacting but I do believe that the book was the culprit.why? Long before these books arrived I already stopped her from watching too much TV. How I made it? I'll make a separate post about it of course I didn't do it over night so don't commend me yet anyways back to the books.  I mentioned here  that the books has an audio reading pen so if your child can't read yet or if you have no time to read for your child, It's OK because your child can listen to it, all you need to teach to your child is how to hold and point the pen to the book and the pen will automatically read everything that's written on the book(w/ correct diction,accent and intonation),actually even those babies who knows how to grip can learn from it too. I just went home from work. A sudden wave of nostalgia swept over me when I got inside the jeepney last night. The song. Memories of my high school days flashback.My HS friends ( We used to sing it before), My first crush ( I used to sing this song for my crush)....(Arteeeee), My first suitor sang that song for me (I miss being serenaded by someone). We went to SM Southmall and ate at Sambokojin yesterday to celebrate my birthday.Yes! It was my birthday yesterday.We're planning to have a simple celebration at my mom's house this coming Sunday so only the three of us went there. Happy Monday! I would like to share my daughter's version of "CUPS" by Anna Kendricks of Pitch Perfect. Super funny talaga ng batang to.The last time naman, She saw a  video from FRENCH GOT TALENT where a young girl was belly dancing then upon seeing it she asked right away if she can join the same contest. "OK,start practicing now" I said happily.The video below was taken last two months ago.that was her first video practicing the belly dance while she was watching it.  She never fail to make me laugh.Children are just so amazing when they perform.I know all you moms feel the same way too with your child/children, right?

We usually order pizza when we have team building or if there's a birthday celebration at the office but when that happens on one of our so called "critical days" (A week before payday) were' dead! (choz!).That's the time when we need to use some talent on budgeting. Good thing there's Jugno's Monster Pizza w/c we usually order during those days. hehe. Affordable in it's HUGE size, Monsterrrific talaga! We usually get mixed flavor 20" pizza that has 42 slices.oh I almost forgot this pizza is different from the others I've known.This comes with four dips instead of just chilli sauce (garlic mayo,chilli sauce,sour cream and salsa) The Verdict: Yes, It's Huge, Looks can be deceiving, size can be overwhelming but for me It doesn't taste really good.It lacks flavor.Pizza dough is quite a disappointment too.It's pretty dry and bland.The dips are good though. now that's HUGE! As I'm writing this,I'm all teary eyed.Can someone help me staunch the flow of tears from my eyes? I'm not a pizza eater in general,my husband is.well,not until I tasted Domino's Pizzas .for me Domino's pizza has by far the tastiest and chewiest dough.I also love that the dough was sweet and soft.unlike other pizza dough that's bland and chewy but gummy. Domino's pizza also puts generous amount of toppings.so di bitin...yummy talaga.
